What we're recommending right now.

Fujifilm X100VI

Fujifilm X100VI

New, €1,699. Fixed 23mm f/2 (35mm equivalent), 40MP X-Trans sensor, in-body image stabilisation. Staff note: "The best small camera for street and travel work. Fixed lens is the point, not the limitation. If you're reaching for your phone because your zoom is too heavy, this is the answer.".
Leica M6 (Pre-Owned, Grade A)

Leica M6 (Pre-Owned, Grade A)

Pre-owned, €2,200. 35mm film rangefinder, TTL metering, mechanical shutter. Shutter curtains inspected, meter battery cap replaced, light seals renewed. Staff note: "A working photographer's film body. The meter is accurate, the shutter is smooth. This particular example has been used — you can see it in the brass showing at the vulcanite edges — but there is nothing wrong with it and the condition card describes exactly what we found.".
Sony A7 IV

Sony A7 IV

New, €2,799. Full-frame mirrorless, 33MP BSI CMOS, 10fps, dual card slots, 4K 60p. Staff note: "The most versatile full-frame mirrorless body at this price point. If you're coming from DSLR and want to keep your adapted glass or Canon RF glass, this is the sensible landing spot. The autofocus is reliable for documentary and event work.".
Canon RF 50mm f/1.2L USM

Canon RF 50mm f/1.2L USM

New, €2,599. Full-frame L-series prime, nano USM autofocus, weather-sealed. Staff note: "An optically remarkable 50mm. The bokeh wide open is unusually smooth for a 1.2 — it does not draw attention to itself the way some fast lenses do. Heavy, expensive, and worth it if 50mm is your focal length.".

Technical services. Done properly.

The grading scale — what it actually means.

A+ — Mint

A+ — Mint

Cosmetically near-new. No visible marks under normal lighting. Shutter count low (under 5,000 on digital). All caps, straps, and accessories present. May show faint box marks from storage. Full function verified.
A — Excellent

A — Excellent

Light signs of careful use. Possible faint marks on body corners or lens barrel that disappear under flash. All functions operate correctly. Sensor clean and spot-free. For digital bodies, shutter count documented where readable. For film bodies, shutter and curtains inspected.
B — Good

B — Good

Honest working-use marks — visible brassing on film bodies, scuff on lens hood thread, small paint loss on body corner. Nothing that affects optical or mechanical function. Described in writing on the condition card. A working photographer's piece of equipment, not a shelf piece.
C — Working

C — Working

Functions correctly, but cosmetically worn — scratches, brassing, body covering partially lifted, dust on rear element (not affecting image quality). Priced accordingly, described in full. No hidden defects; the condition card is exhaustive. Suitable for a photographer who uses gear hard and does not care about resale.

Not a launch review. A review from six months of using it as a primary camera for street work and travel.
What a Noritsu scan actually looks like at 16MP — a comparison

What a Noritsu scan actually looks like at 16MP — a comparison

We scanned the same frame on a Noritsu HS-1800, a Plustek 8200, and a phone flatbed app. The differences matter less than you'd expect in one direction and more in another.

A note on a policy change, and why it was the right decision even though it costs us margin on some pieces.
