Every body is opened, cleaned and tested. Digital bodies get an actuation count read from the file metadata and a sensor inspection under a raking lamp. Film bodies get every marked shutter speed timed and the meter checked.
Anything we cannot bring up to standard is either serviced first or sold as-is with the fault named in the listing. We do not describe a fault as character.
