120 film and digital medium format — Hasselblad, Mamiya, Pentax 645, Fujifilm GFX.
A 6×6 negative is roughly three and a half times the area of 35mm. That is the whole argument: more tonal information, gentler enlargement, and a rendering that is hard to fake.
Film medium format is the cheapest it will ever be. Digital medium format is the most affordable it has ever been. We stock both, and we develop 120 in-house.
Talk to us first. Film backs, focusing screens and bodies age at different rates, and a cheap body with a tired back is not a bargain. We sell them tested as a working combination, not as parts that happen to fit.
